Returning to the Black Sands of Ngarunui Beach was fun. The dark sand gets scorching hot in the heat of the sun, but it’s quite striking. The water is a beautiful hue of green. It’s a very nice beach which is very popular for surfing. However, our family doesn’t frequent it due to the long steep ramp you have to walk in order to get down to the beach from the parking lot.
