Fitzroy Park Is nicely nestled within the neighborhood. When you're driving by, it's fairly easy to miss from Waterford Road, but it's worth a stop.
Exploring Shaw's Bird Park for the first time was quite enjoyable. The small stream flowing through various ponds attracted many waterfowl.
Our first exploration of Hamilton Gardens was on a bit of a rainy day. Despite that, many fun and beautiful things to see.
The Lake Domain Playground is an excellent place to let kids run around and have some fun. There's even a toddler specific zone.
Innes Common is a nice place to spend some time down by the lake. There's things to do for all ages, including exercise equipment for adults.
Stopping along Lake Domain Drive provides a nice view across Lake Rotoroa, also known as Lake Hamilton.
First trip to Raglan turned out to be a beautiful evening. We walked along the beach and ate fish and chips next to the river.
We stopped at a really nice overlook driving out to Raglan. Looking toward Raglan, provides a lovely view of the mountains and valley.
Swarbrick Park is a nice little place to relax. There was a play structure for kids and some nice open fields for sports and other activities.
