Wainamu Beach is tranquil and relaxing. It's where the Tawatahi River meets the Tasman Sea. Since it's on the river, the water is more calm.
Returning to the Black Sands of Ngarunui Beach was fun. The dark sand gets scorching hot in the heat of the sun, but it's quite striking.
The open house of the Hamilton Temple for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was quite the experience. The views inside and out were stunning.
Te Anau Park Is concealed in the neighborhood in the Glenview area. There's a nice open field for running around or throwing something back and forth.
The Beautiful Dusk At Shaw’s Bird Park was lovely to behold. We got to see some adorable signets as well. It was a very enjoyable evening walk.
The wonderful Hobbiton Movie Set was quite the experience. The green rolling hills of the surrounding area are stunning. The attention to detail is impressive.
The Hamilton Gardens are great even during winter. Visiting during August is a different experience. There's still plenty to enjoy.
Sandford Park has a hidden trail through the bush that we were quite happy to find. It meanders through the neighborhood.
Walking the path through Yendell Park on the Waikato River is a relaxing experience. We started at Peacockes Reserve Esplanade and made our way to Yendell Park.
Experiencing the Hamilton Zoo for the first time was fun. It's a decent sized zoo for the size of Hamilton and it's well maintained.
